A rare opportunity to lead a modern feedlot and drive the day-to-day success of a growing, multi-asset Queensland cattle enterprise.
Reporting to the Owners, the successful Feedlot Manager will be in charge of daily operations on site. This position would suit a strong people leader with cattle experience who is ready to step into a management role-even if they're not yet a fully established Feedlot Manager. The start date is flexible and can be negotiated with the successful candidate.

- Manage day-to-day feedlot operations alongside a team of supportive, hands-on staff.
- Manage staff, livestock programs, and daily feedlot operations across a well-equipped, modern facility.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead and mentor a team of up to 7 staff, including pen riders, stock staff, and feed mill personnel.
- Manage livestock movements, feeding programs, and pen management to ensure animal performance and welfare.
- Oversee day-to-day feedlot operations including milling, commodities, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with feedlot standards, biosecurity, WHS, and record-keeping requirements.
- Work closely with the Owners to deliver efficient, profitable operational outcomes and take ownership of site performance.
- Proven staff management and people leadership skills (absolute key requirement).
- Previous feedlotting or intensive livestock management experience.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage time effectively.
- Experience with Livestock Junction or StockID systems (highly regarded).
- On-site 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom residence provided.
- School bus access within 25 km of the property.
- Opportunity for employment for the Manager's partner, depending on skills and experience.
- Performance-based remuneration package, negotiable based on experience.
