Our Harrisonburg service department is looking to add an additional experienced planter service tech to their Team. This full-time position will service planters both in the shop and on the road.

- Set-up, service, and repair agriculture equipment with a focus on Planters and Precision Ag Equipment ( on-site as well as at the Customer location ).
- Participate in training to increase and improve knowledge of Planters and other equipment represented by the Company.
- Represent the interest of Agriteer, LLC in a manner consistent with its vision, mission, business philosophy and Core Values .
- Set-up and repair equipment as directed by Service Shop Team Leader in a timely and accurate fashion, specifically set-up of new Planters, and rebuild or repair work on used Planters ( on-site as well as at the Customer location ).
- Learn the various products to ensure that accurate, detailed, and timely records are maintained and completed on work orders.
- Honor our Customers by focusing on quality service in an efficient and effective manner while optimizing billable time, and by treating Customers' property with the utmost integrity.
- Project a professional and courteous attitude as defined by Agriteer, LLC.
- Any other task assigned by manager.
- Willingness to work overtime, and Saturdays, as needed.
- Ability to drive a service truck up to 3 hours one way for road work.
- Valid Drivers License and DOT Medical Card, CDL preferred .
- Good knowledge of mechanical basics.
- Adequate tool inventory.
- Ability to work well in a Team environment.
- Communicates well - verbally, nonverbally, and in writing.
- Strong Customer focus with the capacity to "flex" to quick changes in scheduling, adjusting personal work schedule as necessary.
- Dependable - meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability, and makes wise decisions in alignment with Company aspirations.
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs.

- Hourly position
- $28-$35 hourly wage, based on experience
