Programmed are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Grain Handlers to join the team at Cargill's Grain Site in The Gums, Queensland.
While harvest season is our busiest period, this role is currently focused on grain storage operations, site maintenance, grain quality activities, and general operational support. Flexibility is essential, as hours and duties may vary throughout the year, with additional work available during peak harvest periods.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with grain storage, preservation, and quality control activities.
- Support the loading and unloading of grain trucks and rail wagons.
- Operate site machinery and equipment in accordance with procedures and training.
- Conduct grain transfers and stock management activities.
- Assist with bunker operations, tarping, and grain monitoring.
- Perform general site maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping duties.
- Complete operational paperwork and records accurately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational targets.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site requirements at all times.
About You
- To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming or a similar industry (preferred).
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- The ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual handling and labouring duties.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekend work and extended shifts during harvest.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- The ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
