Landscaper- Horticulture

Overview

Responsible for care of all interior and exterior landscaping. Plants flowers, mows, pulls weeds, maintenance of artificial plants.

Responsibilities

• Performs ground keeping and building maintenance duties
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass shrubs and bushes as needed.
• Apply fertilizer to enhance growth as needed
• Knowledge of Irrigation Systems
• Knowledge of herbicides and pesticides
• Sweep walkways of debris
• Trim trees and palms as needed.
• Trim shrubs and pull weeds as needed.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in department
• Rake, mulch and prune the grounds as needed
• Ability to occasionally work in high places
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

High school education, 1 year minimum work experience in landscaping. Knowledge of sprinkler systems.

Minimum age requirement is 18.
