Lead Gardener/Horticulturist

Outerland is a horticulture-driven landscape company caring for high-end residential and commercial gardens across Cape Cod. We focus on plant health, long-term care, and ecological stewardship - not mow-and-go maintenance.

We're seeking an experienced Lead Gardener who wants ownership, variety, and the opportunity to help shape gardens over time.

What You'll Do

• Lead fine gardening work: pruning, planting, bed care, seasonal maintenance
• Take ownership of assigned properties and support long-term garden planning
• Apply organic and ecological land care practices
• Guide and mentor gardeners and junior gardeners
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Share observations and ideas - feedback from the field matters here
• Assist with snow work and off season maintenance

Experience & Expectations

• Professional gardening or horticulture experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently and making informed decisions
• Physically able to work outdoors in all conditions
• Strong communication skills
• Driver's license required

Salary Description
