Job Details:

The expectation of this position is to lead and direct hourly team members to produce quality products that meet company standards while achieving financial and business objectives.

Essential Functions
  • Provide quality products to customers globally
  • Achieve production objectives
  • Meet daily hatch objectives
  • Achieve safety objectives
  • Develop and retain qualified team members
  • Ensure TSA and NPIP compliance in regulating Cobb business activities
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional field, typically acquired through four (4) years of college resulting in a bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Two (2) or more years of poultry management-related experience.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using available computer programs.

Travel: Requires four (4) or more domestic trips per year.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises a team of approximately 20 or more hourly team members.

Work Environment & Biosecurity Requirements
This position operates in a biosecure environment, which requires showering before entering the facility and may require multiple showers during the workday. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the company. Jewelry is not permitted on the job site, except for medical ID jewelry.

The team member must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (e.g., chickens, ducks, birds). All company Animal Welfare Policies must be followed at all times, along with established Biosecurity Standards.

Physical Requirements
  • Must use safe lifting techniques
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Required to reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk, and hear
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Team members are expected to follow all required safety procedures and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
