Through innovation, research, and field-proven results, we partner closely with producers, integrators, nutritionists, feed mills, and distributors to provide practical solutions that improve animal health and production outcomes.

Due to continued growth, Anpario is seeking two Poultry Territory Sales Representatives to support key poultry markets across the United States. These positions focus on delivering consultative animal nutrition solutions to poultry producers while driving sales growth and strengthening long-term customer relationships.

Candidates may support one of the following territories:

Territory 1: Southern U.S. This territory has a strong emphasis on broiler production.

Primary states include: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina

Territory 2: Midwest U.S. This territory has a strong emphasis on layer production.

Primary states include: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio, and portions of Missouri and New York

Additional domestic travel may be required to support key accounts, strategic initiatives, and customer relationships.

Position Overview

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable sales growth and expanding market share for Anpario's poultry feed additive and nutrition solutions. This role will support existing customers and develop new customer relationships that grow product sales in the defined territory. This role is heavily focused on poultry production systems - including broilers, layers, and integrated operations - and requires a consultative approach to helping customers improve flock health, feed efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

This is a remote, home-office-based position requiring strong self-direction, territory ownership, and frequent customer engagement. The ideal candidate is motivated by growth, comfortable working in livestock environments, and thrives in a performance-driven sales role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth of poultry-focused feed additive and animal nutrition solutions across assigned territory
  • Develop and expand relationships with poultry integrators, commercial producers, feed mills, and distributors
  • Build partnerships with nutritionists, veterinarians, farm managers, procurement teams, and other key decision-makers
  • Deliver technical and value-based presentations focused on poultry health, feed efficiency, and production performance
  • Grow new accounts while strengthening existing customer relationships
  • Identify customer challenges and align solutions that improve flock performance and profitability
  • Monitor poultry market trends, competitor activity, and regional industry developments
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and global colleagues on product strategy and positioning
  • Represent Anpario at poultry industry events, trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings
  • Maintain CRM activity, forecasting, reporting, and structured territory planning
  • Manage travel and expenses in accordance with company guidelines

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Regular farm visits, customer meetings, and feed mill calls
  • Remote collaboration through Microsoft Teams with U.S. and global teams
  • Participation in poultry technical discussions and species strategy meetings
  • CRM updates and pipeline management
  • Attendance at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events
  • Ongoing sales, technical, and product training
  • Monthly forecasting and expense reporting

Travel Requirements

  • Extensive travel throughout assigned territory
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record required
  • Company-provided vehicle allowance and mileage reimbursement
  • Occasional domestic travel outside the territory may be required
  • Rare international travel opportunities may arise
  • Smartphone required; mobile stipend provided

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of sales experience OR 8+ years of industry experience in poultry production, animal nutrition, feed additives, or livestock production
  • Strong understanding of commercial poultry production systems and integrator operations preferred
  • Proven track record of success in agricultural, livestock, or animal nutrition sales

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven sales and relationship management experience within poultry, livestock, or animal nutrition markets
  • Strong knowledge of poultry production systems (broilers, layers, or integrated operations)
  • Ability to communicate technical nutrition concepts in a clear, solution-oriented manner
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and public speaking skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, territory-based role
  • Strong organization, time management, and pipeline management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • High accountability and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred
  • Established network within poultry, feed mill, or integrator markets preferred
  • Experience working within multinational or globally structured organizations preferred
