Product Specialist

Sage Ag Inc. is currently seeking hardworking, self-motivated, & detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about agricultural/construction technology & machinery. Through this position, you will be working with a major agricultural/construction machinery manufacturer with cutting edge technology in a test field environment. In this exciting position, you will be coordinating the installation of Virtual Superintendent devices on heavy equipment, tracking issues and the progress of solutions, and communicating with customers, product managers, developers, and engineers on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-field engineering support, including data collection, field test, troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve, and document all aspects of the products
• Install Virtual Superintendent hardware solutions on customer equipment for production and special projects
• Assist/provide guidance to technicians during the installation of VS devices
• Supporting customers in the field with troubleshooting issues
• Perform In-field data collection activities, CAN logs, CVML video, etc.
• Provide feedback/guidance to engineering teams for solution improvements.
• Investigate/prototype/install/verify customer requests for tracking specialty equipment/systems.

Requirements

• Minimum GPA of 2.5 in a technical field such as (Systems Technology, Ag Engineering, Construction Technology, Engineering); or related degree with equivalent technical experience
• Some knowledge of agricultural/construction equipment and comfortable working with large machinery
• Strong technology and computer troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to travel (up to 75% including possible international travel)
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License w/ clean driving record
• Out-going and positive attitude
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Ability to keep accurate & detailed records of work performed

Preferred:

• Experience troubleshooting and working with complex systems involving software, electronics and mechanical systems
• CAN/J1939/ISOBUS experience

Job Duration: Full-Time

Job Location: Dubuque, IA

Compensation: Salary $60,000-70,000 (DOE) plus bonuses based on performance. Travel expenses paid by Sage.
