Job Description

Job Duties:
Daily animal husbandry to include feeding, administering medications, and general cleanliness.
Inventories of animals, medications, and tools.
Working outside
Repairing fences and equipment.
Supervision of inmates.
You'd be a GOOD fit if:
You have relevant education, experience, and training.
You have graduated from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
You have experience in livestock production, livestock production agriculture programs, crop production, crop production agriculture programs, or farm equipment management.
You'd be a GREAT fit if:
You have graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED and three years fulltime, wageearning experience in livestock production, livestock production agriculture programs, crop production, crop production agriculture programs, or farm equipment management and repair.
You have construction, maintenance, or farm equipment management and repair experience.
You have Knowledge of livestock management methods and techniques to include safe and effective handling, feeding, and maintaining animal health.
You have Knowledge of agricultural facilities construction and repair methods and procedures.
You have Knowledge of production and safe handling of various livestock commodities.
You have Knowledge of feed production and inventory control practices and techniques
You are SelfMotivated.
You have a strong work ethic.
You can ride and train horses.
