Job Description:
The Team Member willbe responsible forensuring all materials are transported and/or unloadedin a timely mannerwhilemaintaininga safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Operatesin a safe manner, and in accordancetoall company policies and procedures.
Usesa handheld computer to pick and scan product.
Communicates effectively with other TM's andassistsin coordinating toaccomplishall assigned tasks.
Operatespowered pallet jack, forklift and/or reach truck.Inspectsdaily,chargesbatteries,maintainsbattery water level, andchangesbatteriesas necessary.
Delivers raw materials, packaging, and pallets to theappropriate productionareas.
Moves inventory in an organized manner to store in a subzero freezer, cooler, anda drygoods area.
Moves finished goods and work-in-progress from production lines to the shipping area.
Unloadstrucks.
Covers andstretch-wrapspallets.
Ensures assigned production lines are continuously supplied with clean raw materials and packaging.
Recordsmovementtransactions in the SAP system.
Ensuresall raw materials and finished goods are labeled correctly.
Maintainan organized and clean work environment according to 5S principles, GMP's, and USDA regulations.
Reports any damages, discrepancies, unsafe behaviors, and risks to Lead.
Requirements:
6 months continuous work history with single employer in the past 12 months and 6 months of forklift experience within the last 12 months.
Must be able to lifta 50pounds and push/pull 100 lb.
Must be able to stand forlong periods.
Must wear steel/composite toe boots that conform to site requirements.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
Must be able to work in a cold environment ( -10 degrees below zero to 40 degrees F).
Must be willing toaccomplishother duties as assigned.
