AVSeeds is hiring a Territory Sales Representative to remotely join our team in Arizona. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth across agricultural and horticultural markets.

We are a Canadian private equity owned company and the oldest agriculture and wildflower seed company in the state of Colorado. We source and procure high quality agricultural, horticultural, forage, turfgrass, native, and wildflower seeds from growers across the United States. Our customers include farmers, ranchers, landscapers, garden centers, homeowners, government agencies, sports organizations, golf courses, and other seed users. What you will be doing:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing agriculture, horticulture, and seed industry customers.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Meet with farmers, ranchers, seed users, garden center retailers, dealers, landscapers, and other industry professionals.
  • Promote and sell agricultural seed, forage seed, cover crop seed, turfgrass seed, native seed, and wildflower seed products.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and relationship development through closing and post sale support.
  • Achieve and exceed established sales goals and territory growth objectives.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support, product recommendations, and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and forecasts within company systems.
  • Represent AVSeeds at industry events, agriculture trade shows, field days, and customer meetings.

This job is for you if you have:

  • Proven agriculture sales, agribusiness, seed sales, horticulture sales, or related technical sales experience.
  • Strong knowledge of agriculture, crop production, forage systems, seed products, horticulture, turfgrass, or related markets.
  • Demonstrated success in customer relationship management, territory development, and business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting market trends and sales data.
  • Highly organized with effective time management and territory planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as needed.

Candidates with experience in agricultural seeds, forage seeds, cover crops, turfgrass, native plants, horticulture products, crop inputs, agronomy, agricultural retail, or related agriculture industries are strongly encouraged to apply.
