Gregg's Trucking is hiring a Truck Driver to join our team in Carson City, MI (about 50 miles northwest of Lansing). In this role you will transport grain, agricultural commodities, and regional hopper/8 axle dump routes, home every night. What you will be doing:
- Transport grain, commodities, and regional hopper/8 axle dump routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional truck at all times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through timely and professional interactions.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and team members.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, logs, and documentation accurately.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Secure and transport loads safely while ensuring compliance with transportation regulations.
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations and job sites.
This job is for you if you have:
- Valid CDL Interstate License.
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
- Prior experience hauling agricultural commodities, grain, farm products, and/or heavy equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage changing schedules.
- Dependable, professional, and customer-service oriented.
