
Web Developer Intern
Koda North is hiring Web Developer Interns who are eager to learn how modern websites, web applications, client portals, dashboards, APIs, and business software are built, launched, and improved over time.
This internship is designed for students, recent graduates, and aspiring developers who want hands-on experience working on real projects with experienced engineers, designers, and client-facing teams. Interns will have opportunities to contribute to frontend development, backend functionality, CMS-based websites, integrations, debugging, testing, and production improvements while developing strong professional engineering skills.
We are looking for candidates with strong English communication skills who are curious, reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in remote teams, and excited to grow through real-world development experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with building and maintaining websites, web applications, and internal tools
Develop responsive frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
Support backend development tasks including APIs, integrations, forms, and application workflows
Work with databases, content structures, and data-driven features
Translate designs, technical requirements, and feedback into working web features
Debug issues and assist with improving website and application functionality
Test applications across browsers, devices, and different user scenarios
Learn and follow team standards for Git, code reviews, documentation, and deployment workflows
Collaborate with engineers, designers, QA, product teams, and clients
Participate in project discussions, technical planning, and continuous improvement
Take ownership of assigned tasks and communicate progress clearly
Qualifications
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Interest in modern web development and building real-world applications
Some experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or Next.js is a plus
Basic understanding of backend concepts, APIs, databases, or CMS platforms
Understanding of Git and version control basics
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
Nice to have
Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or other CMS platforms
Experience with React, Vue, Next.js, Node.js, Python, Laravel, or similar technologies
Personal projects, websites, GitHub repositories, or previous development experience
Basic understanding of APIs, authentication, databases, or cloud services
Interest in SaaS products, dashboards, internal tools, or business software
Familiarity with AWS, Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, or deployment workflows
Interest in website performance, SEO, accessibility, and user experience improvements
Experience working with third-party integrations, payment systems, analytics tools, or marketing platforms
