In the Farm Technician role you will report to the Farm Manager and provide support to the farm site through general husbandry for the full lifecycle of the fish from smolt intakes, to growth, to harvest. This includes, feeding fish, fish health and welfare, fish transfers and treatments, sampling, sea lice reporting, assisting with grid and net installation and repair, site maintenance, site security, fish monitoring and inspection, boat handling around the farm, and all other general farm tasks to keep the farm running successfully.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidates would be safety oriented and willing to work in a team environment with a passion for the industry. They would have:
- Related education or experience within the industry
- Marine related training certificates considered an asset
- Respect for the need for safe working practices and animal welfare
- Physical capability to complete repetitive tasks and handle material up to 25kg
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely and effectively in challenging outdoor weather
- Comfortable working in remote locations, outside, and on the water
- Flexible approach to working to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to work a 7 day on, 7 day off shift
- A valid driver's license
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
