An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer. The role is based at the Fridaythorpe Mill working within the Engineering Department to minimize downtime, ensure compliance with legislation and quality standards while optimising plant performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring Health and safety of equipment and compliance to HSE legislation
- Complete PPMs and update the CMMS
- Maximise equipment uptime while trouble shooting mechanical and electrical failures
- Included in the on-call rota to support out of hours production
- Suggest and implement improvement ideas to increase site capacity, reliability and quality
- Involvement in capital project development and execution
- Help ensure spare parts and consumables stocks are maintained
- Support the Engineering Manager
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
- Strong mechanical and electrical background
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
- Team player
- You must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and able to work independently
Pay and Benefits
- Full time, permanent position - 40 hours per week plus 1 in 3 on call and overtime available
