1. Reviews condominium property regime documents for conformance with Hawai'i Revised Statutes (HRS) Chapter 205.

2. Reviews and approves farm plans as part of farm dwelling building permit applications.

3. Processes agricultural-related land use permits, like Conditional Use Permits for AG tourism, AG farmer's markets, nature-based recreation, and farm-worker housing.

4. Represents DPP on agricultural task force matters.

5. Interacts with AG stakeholders at meetings, sometimes after business hours.

6. Offers training for the AG sector to facilitate deeper understanding of City's AG-related regulations.

7. Coordinates with employees working on adjacent policy issues at the Offices of Economic Revitalization and Climate Change Resiliency and Sustainability.

8. Interprets AG-related case law in coordination with the Department of the Corporation Counsel (COR).

9. Performs site visits and inspections of AG land.

10. Supervises inspectors relating to AG enforcement actions.

11. Administers AG administrative rules.

12. Completes AG zoning clearances.

13. Performs AG related building permit review.

14. Evaluates permit-exempt AG structures for compliance with State law.

15. Develops AG policies, legislation and legislative testimony.

16. Works with Planning Division (PD) on Important AG Lands (IAL).

17. Performs other duties as assigned.
