Sage Ag Inc. is currently seeking a hardworking, self-motivated, & detailed oriented individual this is passionate about agricultural technology & machinery. Through this position, you will be working with a major agricultural machinery manufacturer with cutting edge technology.As a Machine Support Specialist, you will be supporting machine product development, testing, performing software configuration, working with electrical systems, and machine troubleshooting. Must enjoy solving technical problems, working with Agricultural machinery and collaborating across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

• Support software deployment, configuration, programming files, release records, and installation reporting for development, test, factory, and customer machines
• Serve as a technical support contact for test machines
• Partner with engineers, technicians, and suppliers to resolve machine issues, reduce downtime, and support testing activities
• Investigate product and system issues, develop test setups, and validate solutions
• Travel occasionally to customer or field test locations to support issue investigation and validation
• Assemble prototype, development, low-volume, and specialty wiring harnesses for validation, warranty investigations, feasibility programs, and urgent production needs
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure harness quality and functionality
• Manage inventories of electrical connectors, wiring, terminals, and related components
• Coordinate replenishment and monitor stock levels to support current and future development programs

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with electrical systems, machine controls, software configuration, vehicle systems, troubleshooting, or technical support.
• Ability to work effectively in shop and office environments while collaborating with teams of various departments
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or in a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for documentation purposes
• Willingness to travel occasionally to field test environments, or customer locations

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with agricultural, construction, automotive, or off-highway equipment
• Experience supporting machine test programs, product development, electrical harness work, diagnostic tools, or machine programming systems

• Job Duration: Full-Time
• Job Location: Waterloo, Iowa
• Compensation: Salary Range $25.00 - 30.00 per hour (DOE). All travel expenses paid by Sage Ag Inc.
