We are seeking a skilled and reliable Grain Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a grain handling facility and be able to operate equipment such as conveyors, elevators, and grain dryers safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks and railcars with grain
- Monitoring and adjusting equipment to ensure proper grain flow
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment
- Sampling and testing grain for quality control
- Keeping accurate records of grain quantities and movements
- Following safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements: - Previous experience working in a grain handling facility preferred
- Ability to operate equipment such as conveyors, elevators, and grain dryers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
