Programmed are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Loader Operator to join our clients team at The Gums Grain Site. While harvest season is our busiest period, this role is currently focused on out-of-season grain storage, site maintenance, and operational support activities. Flexibility is essential, as hours and duties may vary and additional work may be required during peak harvest periods.

Programmed are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Loader Operator to join our clients team at The Gums Grain Site. About the Role
As a Loader Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining grain quality, supporting storage operations, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of grain throughout the site. This is a hands-on position requiring a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain mobile plant and equipment, including Front-End Loaders, Telehandlers, and Water Trucks.
- Support the loading and unloading of grain trucks and rail wagons.
- Participate in bulk grain storage activities, including tarping, bunker management, and grain preservation tasks.
- Assist with grain transfer and blending operations.
- Conduct general site maintenance, cleaning, housekeeping, and operational support duties.
- Safely load and unload grain from trucks and other equipment.
- Work collaboratively with site teams to achieve productivity and operational targets.
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and site requirements at all times.
About You
- To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience operating Front-End Loaders or similar mobile plant (preferred).
- A current Loader Ticket / High-Risk Licence (highly regarded).
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness and a willingness to undertake general labouring duties when required.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including extended shifts during harvest and peak operational periods.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol testing
