Position Summary
The Student Farm Assistant position assists with grounds, facility, and animal upkeep on the Department of Population Health's Riverbend and Rose Creek farms.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
Prior farm, construction, or outdoor work experience. All experience will be considered, regardless of if experience was formal/paid work or informal/volunteer/home work.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Physical Demands
May involve tractor use (including driving) and lifting of > 50 pounds. Driving a tractor would be the only potential driving responsibility, not vehicles.

- Fence building/repair.
- Help check cattle and maintain water troughs for cattle.
