Position Summary
The Time & Attendance Coordinator is responsible for the daily administration, monitoring, and maintenance of employee attendance records and attendance point assessments. This position works closely with supervisors, HR, payroll, and operations leadership to ensure accurate attendance tracking, timely communication of attendance issues, and compliance with company attendance policies. The role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, organization, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position will support daily attendance operations through ERP and workforce management systems such as SAP, Kronos, or similar timekeeping platforms while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and review employee attendance call-out systems and attendance notifications on a daily basis.
- Assess attendance occurrences and accurately enter attendance points in accordance with company policy.
- Print, maintain, and organize attendance-related documentation and notification forms.
- Communicate with supervisors and department leaders regarding attendance discrepancies, late notifications, and clarification requests.
- Upload and maintain attendance notification records and supporting documentation.
- Verify attendance point entries for accuracy and completeness through routine audits and quality checks.
- Process attendance corrections and adjustments based on HR guidance and approved exceptions.
- Maintain and update attendance tracking logs and related reporting tools.
- Review attendance exceptions and occurrences requiring manual review outside standard processing windows.
- Support secondary review and quality assurance processes to ensure consistency and policy compliance.
- Provide professional customer service and support to team members, supervisors, and leadership regarding attendance-related questions.
- Assist with reporting, payroll support activities, and administrative tracking as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee attendance and payroll-related information.
- Must be flexible with hours as some second shift hours may be required
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of office experience
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or business-related coursework preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented manufacturing or operations environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Word
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet daily deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
- Experience with SAP, Kronos, UKG, ADP, Workday, or other major time and attendance/payroll systems.
- Previous experience in payroll, attendance administration, HR support, accounting support, or workforce administration.
- Manufacturing or plant environment experience preferred.
- Experience reviewing attendance policies, employee records, or payroll-related transactions.
- Inventory, production, or ERP experience is a plus.
