Soybean Crushing Plant Operator
We are looking to fill this position immediately.
We are a small local family farm with a plant operation requiring up to 5 people. We share a relaxed environment with opportunities for long term employment, and to learn about grain crushing into meal and/or oil. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join the team at Snow Creek Farms. In this role, you will support working in the crushing process of grains into meal and/or oil. Some maintenance, as needed.
Responsibilities
- The plant employees are responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks of the grains coming in and going of Snow Creek facility.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the extraction of meal and/or oil from Soybeans by way of extruders, presses, degumming, etc.
- Responsible for following safety guidelines while plant is in operation during each shift.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
