This role reports directly to the Operations Manager / Owner. It is ideally suited to a multi-skilled operator or someone experienced in one area (ag or earthmoving) who is keen to expand their skillset. Training is provided, and the team structure can be adjusted based on experience.

- Home every night - all work local to Emerald and surrounds.
- Varied, hands-on work across ag machinery, earthmoving and contracting.
- Strong hourly rate + rent assistance with full-time, ongoing hours.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate agricultural machinery including CASE Steiger tractors with implements such as planters, spreaders, seeders, mulchers and deep rippers.
- Carry out earthmoving works using loaders, graders, rollers and laser buckets (irrigation channels, contour banks, dams, roads, firebreaks, general earthworks).
- Assist with spray rig operations (training provided if no prior experience).
- General contracting duties including machinery changeovers, basic maintenance and site preparation.
- Experience operating agricultural machinery and/or earthmoving equipment.
- Willingness to be a multi-skilled operator and learn across different machines.
- Current driver's licence (HC or MC licence highly regarded but not essential).
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a close-knit local team.
- Negotiable hourly rate dependant on prior skills & experience.
- Rent assistance: Paid on top of wages (accommodation not supplied).
- Location: Emerald QLD - all work local, home every night.
