Buchan Farmer's Grain & Ag, located in Willshire, OH, is a family-owned, diversified operation encompassing a large-scale farming operation, a 4-million-bushel grain elevator, logging business, and sawmill. Over the past ten years, we have experienced significant growth and continue to expand. Whether your strengths are behind the wheel, in the field, at the grain facility, or supporting customers and truck traffic in the scale office, we would like to hear from you. Candidates may be considered for the area that best matches their experience and interests.
Current Opportunities (Both Full-Time and Part-Time)
CDL Drivers
- A valid Class A CDL and safe driving record are required for driving positions.
- Safely haul grain, farm inputs, equipment, and other materials as needed.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and help keep trucks clean and well maintained.
Farm Equipment Operators
- Operate modern tractors, tillage equipment, grain carts, and related farm machinery.
- Assist with harvest, tillage, and other seasonal field operations.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs.
Scale Office Assistant
- Welcome drivers and customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
- Weigh inbound and outbound trucks and accurately enter scale and load information.
- Prepare tickets, maintain organized records, answer phones, and support daily grain office activities.
Diesel Mechanic
- Maintain and repair semi-trucks, trailers, and all types of farm equipment

- Flexibility to work extended or varied hours during planting, harvest, and other peak seasons, depending on the position.
