WhatYou'llDo
  • Lead, direct, and supervise a team of maintenance techniciansin accordance withcompany policies and applicable regulations
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and equipment repair schedules
  • Monitor and reduce machine downtime through efficient troubleshooting and repairs
  • Diagnoseandassistwith resolution of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related issues
  • Promote and enforce a"Safety First" cultureacross the maintenance team
  • Ensure compliance withSQF, GMP, and food safety standards
  • Assistin training, evaluating, and developing maintenance employees
  • Partner with production and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintainaccuratemaintenance records and documentation
  • Performadditionalduties asrequiredto support business operations

  • Exposure to temperature variations depending on production areas
  • Use of industrial equipment and maintenance tools
  • Weekend and off-shift work may berequiredbased on operational needs

  • Army:91B (Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic), 91X / 91Z (Maintenance Leadership), 12R (Interior Electrician), 11Z (Senior Enlisted Leadership)
  • Air Force:2A6X6 / 2A7X3 (Aircraft Maintenance & Electrical Systems), 2A (Aircraft Maintenance career fields), 3E (Civil Engineering / Facilities & Operations)
  • Navy:MM (Machinist's Mate), ET (Electronics Technician), EM / GSM (Electrical & Mechanical Operations)
  • Marine Corps:1141 (Electrician), 2111 (Repair/Technical Maintenance), 21XX maintenance and engineering roles, 13XX engineering and utilities fields
  • Coast Guard:MK (Machinery Technician)
Requirements (Must Haves)
  • Education:Associate's degree or technical program certificate;OR5+ years of related experience and training;ORequivalent combination of education and experience in afood manufacturing environment.
  • Experience:Minimum5 years of experienceas a maintenance lead or supervisor with direct reports.Proven experience directing, evaluating, and training maintenance technicians.
  • Technical Skills:Ability to diagnose and troubleshootelectrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC systems.Experience developing andmaintainingpreventative maintenance programs.
  • Communication:Ability to clearly communicate ideas verbally and in writing.Strong listening and comprehension skills.
  • Computer Skills:IntermediateproficiencyinMicrosoft Word,Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Outlook.Basic PLC knowledgerequired.SAP experience preferred.
  • Special Skills:Must bea motivated, self-starter with a desire to learn and the ability to lead others.

Compensation Range: $78,500.00 - $113,600.00 USD Annual

The posted compensation range reflects Tyson Foods Inc. national average range for this role. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
